Cancellation or Reschedule Policy for the IELTS Exam
If you need to cancel or reschedule your IELTS exam, please note the following policies:
1. Cancellation or Rescheduling More Than Five Weeks Before the Test Date:
You are eligible for a refund, but an administrative fee will be deducted from the total
amount.
2. Cancellation or Rescheduling Within Five Weeks of the Test Date:
You will forfeit the entire test fee unless you can provide evidence of a serious medical
condition.
3. Medical Exceptions:
If you are unable to take the test due to medical reasons, you must submit a valid
medical certificate within five days of the test date. In such cases, a refund will be
processed after deducting applicable local administrative fees.

IELTS Exam Format: A Complete Breakdown
The IELTS Exam is designed to evaluate your English language proficiency across four key sections:

● Academic Version: Features 3 long passages from books, journals, and magazines, designed to
test comprehension and analytical skills.
● General Training Version: Includes 4 short passages and 1 long passage from everyday materials
like advertisements, handbooks, and newspapers.
● Time: 60 minutes
● Number of Questions: 40
2. Listening Section:
● Comprises 4 parts, each with 10 questions.
● Covers a range of accents and situations, such as conversations, monologues, and lectures.
● Time: 30 minutes (plus 10 minutes to transfer answers for the paper-based test).
● Number of Questions: 40
3. Writing Section:
- Academic Version:
Task 1: Write a report of at least 150 words based on a chart, graph, table, or diagram.
Task 2: Write an essay of at least 250 words expressing an opinion or argument. - General Training Version:
