Student Visa Guideline


A Malta student visa is an official permit that allows international students to enter Malta to pursue their studies at accredited educational institutions, offering an opportunity to engage in a rich academic experience within a culturally vibrant setting. This visa typically falls under two categories: the Schengen Type D visa, which is intended for students enrolled in programs lasting longer than three months, and the Schengen Type C visa, suitable for short-term studies of up to 90 days. 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • The passport must be valid for at least three months beyond the intended stay, not older than ten years, and have at least two blank pages.
  • Two recent color photographs (3.5 cm x 4.5 cm) were taken against a plain white background.
  • A completed and signed visa application form.
  • Proof of confirming accommodation arrangements in Malta.
  • Acceptance letter from a recognized Maltese educational institution confirming enrollment in a course.
  • Valid travel medical insurance.
  • Police Clearance Certificate.
